Maybe this will be my scene this Christmas.

Christmas does take my breath away, when it finally gets here, the people are all asleep, and I'm alone with the meaning of it all.

I'll be going with my daughter Hannah and my grandson Hunter to chop down a tree tonight. My daughter has this idea that it will be a bonding experience for the two of them - and that Hunter will always remember it. Well, I'm not much for dead trees - hate having to fool around with all the sap, needles, dirt, water, etc. - but her heart is dead set on it. Another excuse not to wrap. :-D

I'm just sitting here, daydreaming of last year when I was off for Christmas. Oh, how slowly the times goes by when one waits for something...LOL.

I know what you mean about "is it too early to pack yet"... I've been deciding what suitcase to even take - carry-on or bigger. I will have a unwrapped Christmas presents to bring along so I probably need the space. Ugh - I hate checking luggage.

I don't own a laptop. I like the clunky old desktop models. (Makes traveling difficult though LOL) G and I bought his Mom a computer for her birthday so there will be one to play with while I'm there :-)

I suppose I would use one if I had it, but since we travel light (or try to Ha Ha) we wouldn't really drag it along on most trips. Besides, if we are sleeping in the tent, where would we plug it in? LOL

Tee hee - you make me laugh. Its okay - you aren't alone. I guess I just did it so much as a kid on camping trips that it was perfectly normal. I had a mama bear and her scrawny teenage bear walk right through our campsite once, and we were sleeping on a tarp, no tent. It was wild.

For a woman of leisure, you sure are up early... Good morning Tracey :-) Yes, tomorrow will bring - more anticipation!! And butterflies... and fear of my review at work... and indecision on what to pack... and anxiety about catching the right train to the airport... and - JOY!

I like what Autumn said about restless sleep :-) Perhaps someone special has you on their mind...

I'm sure your review will go splendidly :0)

Well, it is the very first one I've had since being with this company. The president himself gives me the review because I report to him. Your confidence is touching :-D
