We clasp the hands of those who go before us,
and the hands of those who come after us;
we enter the little circle of each other's arms,
and the larger circle of lovers
whose hands are joined in a dance,
and the larger circle of all creatures,
passing in and out of life,
who move also in a dance,
to a music so subtle and vast
that no one hears it except in fragments.

Wish I could think of something terribly profound and insightful to say to that - I'll go away and try to come up with something good ;) I may or may not be back :-D
Awesome.

Thanks. I hadn't heard that fragment before.

Trée :-)

Jeanne - I liked the sentiment. Say, is it getting warmer in Sweden yet? The trees are popping out all over here - amazing as it is only early February!

TRACE - Woo hoo - Friday around the world, on the moon, on the beach - it is the best day of the week isn't it?

Happy Friday to you too!

Oh my. I've seen this little carving in real life. You've just given it incredible new meaning.

So very true.
