My Love,

Jump on my horse Misty with me... as we did the very first time we met,

Riding through the forest between the quiet trees and fern covered logs... we hear the voices of unseen thrushes and and warblers.

Now breath in deeply the smell of the sage and brush as we ride out of the trees on the trail in Lost Canyon, along the crumbling basalt waterfall, long since dried in the summer heat... then down across the slow moving moss-filled creek under the shady oaks...

Break out on the ocean where the waves are crashing on the shore, spilling their foamy spray on our faces as we ride along the beach...

This is true bliss.

Thanks A :-) I'm in heaven today.

Ranger Tom - riding is a pleasure unto itself. I miss it so much. This was written from a memory still treasured from my youth...and my horse Misty looked so like this pinto. Ah, the good old days were good.

Hi Thelma & Louise... did have a great weekend but was out of town and now I'm to tired to be here at work. Why are you tired Thelma?

Thanks Sherri - so do you :-D

Keshi, I love it when you stop by. Glad you could take the ride with me :-)

Anne - LOVE IT! Pretty funny though - how did you do that? You are such a nut ... love you :-D

Yeah Autumn... it IS Monday - bleah.

Tai - I've never seen the lush rainforests of BC, but it sounds like a place I'd love to be. One day perhaps I'll get there for that adventure :-)
