Today's idyllic walk leads down a path whose end is not in sight. Isn't the journey the best part?

The journey is the best part, no doubt. Boy, that path looks so very peaceful. I could stare at it all day long. Thanks for sharing Terry.

All the photos you post are so incredibly beautiful.
I love the photos from Iceland. I thought the church might be at Budir in Snaefellsnes....if it is then there is where my paternal grandparents are burried.
Minka thought it might be Skagaholtskirkja, she is probably right, there are so many black and white churches in Iceland.
When I think of Iceland, I see sunshine and images like those in my minds eye. *smile* in my thoughts the sun is always shining in Iceland.

Trée - :-) All the places that I post are usually places I'd rather be... at this very moment. Definately better than sitting here in an office where the air is filtered, crunched into my chair, no time for day dreams... working. I love shady paths.

Mo'a - you are correct, as it is the church at Budir in Snaefellsness.. That is so cool that your grandparents are buried there. Lovely place. The sun IS always shining somewhere in Iceland - if not, just wait a minute and it will be :-)

Definitely all about the journey :-) Reminds me of the forests here, beautiful - a picture to daydream to, that's for sure.

Keshi - Anticipation of the journey and the act of "getting there" is the part you remember most on a trip :-)

Trace - Thought of you last night when I watched a special about the Alaskan glaciers... I am compiling a new list of places to go. Must compare with the first one I ever laid eyes on... in Iceland :-)

Autumn - I bet the forests in Denmark are beautiful. Speaking of lists - I think Denmark is up there by No. 1 place to visit next. Hope you get some shut-eye and wake up refreshed for a new go at the world tomorrow :-)

- Oh c'mon Monika! That is when you light your little fire, cuddle up with your sweetie with your lopapeysas on, and snarf down a few roasted pylsur... :-D

Chance would be a fine thing, back to old habits ;-) Nah, just relishing having the place to myself (as Maria sleeps), first time I have really been on my own in ages. I've got a nice cup of coffee, James Blunt playing in the background and blogland at my fingertips, woohoo! :-D
Yes, do come to Denmark, I forget sometimes that there are some beautiful places here. Plus it would be interesting to find out more about the Danish branch of the family tree.

It looks like a great place to take a walk during the day. But living in a treeless environment for so long I don't know if I would like it in the dark.
