I find it more disturbing that the road is so messed up it has humps for 300 yards. How lame is that it would tear my car apart.

Doug - hard to say - some folks like to be known.
CD: Hi and welcome! Yes, it would tear your car up - that is why they drive little cars in London. I don't know why they say humps, rather than bumps though. I thought it was funny.
Monika - I'm not sure when it started. I just know that some folks slyly call Wednesday hump day, referring to it being the middle of the week (the hump of the week, so to speak). That way they can post semi suggestive pictures without being thought of as smutty.
