I grew up going to this beach. Meet me down there under the 10 o'clock moon - you know the drill. Anybody need food assignments? :-D
Autumn, it is bliss - Friday or any other day of the week :-)
Trée - the sand is nice too - bring a blanket.
Meg - Come join us! We have regular weekend shindigs (as they say in Texas) around here. Bring a sweatshirt as the night gets chilly when the fog rolls in.
Autumn - yep! And the hits just keep on coming... :-D
Good pic at Malibu. The temp would be just right today. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on the Crater Lake shot. That's the closest I've been to it.
Hey! I just saw the snow event news in SF some posts down... are you there? I am moving back there once my house sells! Wooh! There's no place like SF!
Thank you for dropping by my rhapsody! Any friend's of Móa's, Doug's, Monika's (and the list goes on!) is a friend to bohemians!
Jillie, I love Malibu. The beach is something I miss the most up here in Northern CA. Of course there are beaches here - and pretty ones too. They just aren't outside my doorstep anymore.
Oliviah - I've made many a castle -only we used to make "dribble" castles. Ever make one that way?
Thanks Tom - Engineers have a knack at being discreet :-)as well as a good shot of valor.
Doug - it is further away from me than you at this point :-)
Gordon - so nice of you to stop by. I had to look up where Perris is located... never really heard much about it! Your pic of Crater Lake was great - I love seeing it all at once instead of just the close-up shots which don't give you the overall perspective.
To the exalted Miz Bohemia - I am honored to have you leave me a comment! I loved your video what a great screen presence :-D You are actually leaving Spain? That is one place I've thought of visiting. Yes, I live near SF - across the bay in Walnut Creek. You'll have to show me the city sometime - even though I live closeby, I don't know it very well. I ride Bart when I go - and then walk everywhere.
Autumn - HAPPY MONDAY! Love you posts - I may have to follow suit with the Window to your Soul post. I love it!!
Looking at your beach, 'your' gulls and inevitably I start thinking about mine. You know what I mean.
The global gull family! So, 'your' beach or 'mine'? Better be yours, our here have all turned a menacing grey and the heat's gone now. All that's left for the time being is the gulls, the eternal, free-flying gulls...
MS - My beach is good for now - But I'd love to put my toes in the waters off the Lisbon coast - or even walk along the windy shore with my coat bundled up. Watching those gulls - as they wheel and pitch in the gusty salt air is a joy of its own.

Pure bliss! What a perfect picture for Friday :-)
Only thing missing is a big white chair and a couple Pamaritas! :-)
Sounds like we found a location for another party :-D

I've only been to Mailbu a couple of time...what a beautiful beach. I had a old boyfriend that loved to surf it.
(Heh)...look at those buzzards flying over that beach..now THAT's one spooky picture! LOL!
I'm so used to white, white sand, this picture is fascinating. I am imagining what sandcastles would look like with this sand.
I have a LOT of things I;s like to say... But discretion being the better part of valor, I'll just shut up.
Hope you're having a great day!
That looks nice. Too bad it's so far away.

Happy Saturday, Terry - let me know if you are with pan :-D
Ha ha ha ha - "with Pan"... yes, I'm with pan. I have it! I've been playing for hours! How fun it is! My Sweetie is such a great audience :-D
Not adverse to trying his hand at it too, a little bird tells me :-D
Sweet dreams, x
Ooooh! How beautiful!

the sound of the surf--sea gulls---laying about------yes it was a sweet week-end :-)
