Natural Fractal

I let the spider create the fractal... it's more my style anyway.

Yikes! I hate spiders. But, that's a great shot of that web!

I scream with the best of them, when one comes too near me unexpectedly, but I force myself to pick them up if they are large and put them outside. Small ones, I leave - supposed to be lucky according to my pops :-).
I really like this photograph! Partly because besides the web and the spider, I cannot figure out what the rest is, but it's certainly colourful and quite enticing to look at.

Terry, do you bake cookies?

Sherri and Autumn - Tee hee - for some reason I've never had an aversion to spiders - too many readings of Charlotte's Web as a child I guess :-) George's theory on spiders is to leave them alone as it is good karma (although he trembles if they are near). I love spiderwebs in this form, and although I didn't take this photo, I do like to photograph them when they are wet with the morning dew.

Yes, I do bake. Do you have a good recipe?

Have a few, but they are all from cook books. I'm great at cakes etc, but my cookies always fail.

:-) The query came from those warm and encouraging comments that you leave.

The ONLY way to fail at cookies is when they burn... and I've been guilty of that one more than a few times, scatterbrain that I am. I'm sure yours are great. Cakes take much more effort and skill anyway :-)

the web is stronger then steel--as for the spiders--i leave them be,and they leave me alone--very important if you must crawl under houses. gb
