Stormy Sea
The weather has been on the news so much this past 6 months. Hurricanes are awful - I wish they would just stop. But I can't help but love the way the ocean looks when it's stormy.
It is a beautiful, mighty sight at any time, but especially in stormy weather. Wish I was there seeing this picture in person (with a thick jumper and good anorak).
I never tire of the sea. I love it in most conditions, but am most pleased when there is some drama to it. When I went to Pt. Reyes on the California coast, I was disappointed because the beach was flat as a lake, with a bare minumum of wavelets lapping at the smooth sand.
I had to look up the word "anorak" as I haven't used it before. Thanks for the new vocabulary word :-)
BTW, is Autumn Storm your given name? I think it is quite the most lovely name I've ever heard.

I have to agree. I love the sea and there is something very powerful about an angry sea yet also very seductive too. Love that photo.
