Icicles at the cabin at Shaver Lake, CA - so beautiful. These icicles grow and grow while we are there, and then in one fell swoop the ice slides off the tin roof with a huge whooooossshhhhh. There is beauty to be found in so many places.

Ah - (scratching her head) it must be the beards - thats it! ZZ TOP beards! Ha ha, no secret messages - but I do love ZZ TOP :-) I'm not too good at pokerface - what you see is what you get.

Have you noticed there are sounds in life that you know when you hear?
The sound of a car crash is unmistakeable for me.
The sound of my mothers keys always let us know she was near (usually when we'd run off in the grocery store).
For you, the sound of ice sliding off a tin roof. You'll know it when it happens, just by the sound.

Agnes, I know what you mean about the sounds. For me it is the high pitched squeak of the screen door opening which tells me someone is coming in the house, or the plop outside the window at 5:30 a.m. signaling the arrival of the morning paper as it hits the ground by the gate. Funny I rememeber Mom's keys vividly too when she was getting ready to go somewhere. Mom's have giant keychains - now I have my own giant keys - LOL.
The least amoung of keys on one's key ring ,is the "key" to less stress in one's life.
