Merry Christmas Eve to all -
Having a lovely time here in Florida. Sun shining, warm temps - went to the Cape (Canaveral) yesterday where I saw my first flamingos, an alligator sunning itself in a ditch, oh yes, and many armadillos snuffling around on the side of the road... lots of fun.

Autumn - Christmas blessings to you and Maria from sunny Florida!

Lisa, nice to hear from you - is your son home for the holidays? Merry Christmas and blessing to you in the New Year.

TRACEY- I'm having a wonderful time - everything is heavenly here with you know who. Happy Christmas - have a joyous time singing and Christmasing with your Mom.

Merry Christmas my wonderful friend and I had no doubt Florida would be the best (I have a feeling being locked in a closet would be the best with you know who LOL)

Hope you have a great day! (hugs)

oh my gosh, sorry Terry! i just saw your note today (january 7th!) Brian has been home since dec 17th, and is leaving for new york (some IAJE jazz convention there) on tuesday (boo hoo!) and then heading back to stockton around the 15th...the brubeck kids are heading up to NYC to meet him there courtesty of the school, and they get to play a concert at Carnegie Hall on the 12th! it sounds sooo cool, tho i think Carnegie is way more accessible these days to younger students etc, but it's still pretty darn cool! he played at the local jazz club one night with his band just after new years and now i am gathering up his laundry and pulling up the emotional stakes again, in preparation for good bye...but the quintet will be doing 2 nights in toronto for march break, so i'll see him for a week then, and get to meet his 4 wacky school mates, or "fellows" as they call them.

now i read on your blog that you are having a terrible house challenge, with furnace and foundation issues and all. why does it all happen at once? sometimes i think its a sign of something or a message...but maybe it just means time for a new furnace and update on the foundation, in case you have any extra millions of dollars lying around you didnt know what to do with...
hope your troubles are easily resolved and not as much problem as initially anticipated....
all the best and happy new year! xo lisa
