I had fun last night - didn't know I loved playing in the mud so much! I learned wondrous new things - ways to make clay look different, ways to mold it and mark it, ways to personally create beautiful things! There is hope for me! So what if I'm a grandma... better late than never.
Our instructor made it look so easy - the clay was fluid, magically obedient to his touch as he centered it on the wheel. My first attempts weren't bad, but much practice will be forthcoming in order for me to do it with confidence. :-D

That's excellent, Terry, so glad it was everything you hoped.
PS A few more classes before you make my present ;-), but I'd say you are ready to recreate that ghostly mess already rofl ;-)

Ooohhhh...clay! Isn't it a joyous thing?? It has been ages since I played in the mud.

There simply is no moment like the peace one gets when totally focused on that spinning mass. The knowledge that it will become something unique to you...a part of you even...split off for the world to see. Your mold! Your mood! Your creation.
Oh I do miss that.
Enjoy it like life!
