Let's go walking thru the mist
in the forest
in the trees

Sun-teased fog wisps
float between us
as we hold hands

Well, we shall see (grins wryly, holding stooped back)I have those dratted pain pills which should help a bit. I'm trying to get on an earlier flight than my 9:30pm red eye - so I'll be at San Francisco Aiport at 6am. Double ouch!

:-) Looks inviting - have always loved the forrest, used to spend all day there sometimes when I was a child. I'd often get lost, but it never bothered me (still doesn't - getting lost anywhere), eventually I always found my way out again.

Best of luck with getting an earlier flight.
Safe journey, x

Hi Terry,
My name is Carol and I am the conductor of the Friends of the Friendless Marching Band. I choose a friendless site to feature every Friendly Friday.
You have been nominated for the featured site this week.
Being nominated as a friendless site only means that someone thinks your blog
doesn't get enough comments and wants you singled out to get more attention.
I hope you will come play along.

I sure would like to be walking in that forest.

This is looks like a doorway into another world. Now if I could only figure out how to squeeze through it...

Wow, what a great place! I'm marching through with the band but I plan on coming back many times. Thanks for the great pictures, poetry, and personal glimpses!

Thank you all members of the FFMB for your kind comments and visits. That's quite a lively group you have there :-) 'Tis a nice idea you have of marching on through blogs - and I enjoyed hearing the band!

Looks like a beautiful place to do some writing Terry.

Morning Terry, are you back on the west coast? Hope all's well.

Hi Autumn, I'm back from my whirlwind trip...it was short but sweet. Sad, as such events are, but so good to see my Love and his family. Some closure was accomplished, and life is moving forward. Can't believe I was on the other coast for just a few days and now I'm back as if I never went! Flying is always such a trip (ha ha, get the pun?). I've missed everyone, and apparently been visited by some interesting blogging folks while I was gone. Your new icon is so cool - and your writing project is an awesome read.

That all sounds positive/good, Terry, happy things went/are going well for you all.
But how is your back?!

That's always the way with trips, over too soon and back to normal as if nothing was ever any different. If it weren't for the memories, it'd be like we never left :)
We've missed you too, for sure - looking forward to some Terry posts, been missing those terribly.

Thanks for kind words, x

The back is oh so much better! Thanks for asking :-) Amazing what, with the help of a few pain pills, lots of pillows stuffed behind on the plane can do! Sitting for so many hours was not as hard as I had thought it would be. The back is still tender, but heaps better than it was, and I don't have to embarassingly bent over like last week. How's your Monday been?

Great news :) That whole pretzel analogy had me grimacing in sympathy!
Tiring, hence I'm mindlessly surfing (on and off) to make up for it :0)
Just gone 20.30, but I'm not sure how much longer, I will last this evening lol.
Enjoy the rest of your day and evening, x

tsduff said...

20.30? That sounds brutal :-O

I have to remember the pretzel analogy as a warning, because I'm not out of the woods yet.

Surfing is good for the soul when you need to just cruise. Have a peaceful evening!

So glad you're back and somewhat better. I do hope you're 100% again soon.
Did your dear come home with you or will he be gone a bit still.
Hug him once for you and once for me. (but lightly...don't strain anything!) ;)

I love the woods photo. I want a house someday in a place where I can awake to that view every day....and just beyond those trees...is a mist covered lake. Ahhhh.
((((((((((Terry))))))))))

Yeah,

Let's do that, sometime!

Aggie,
My Bear is still in Florida - doing the things one must do after a funeral - paperwork... SS, medi-cal, insurance, property title stuff - etc etc. Poor guy had hoped to be home before now, but canceled his flight because there is just too much stuff to do for his Mom.

My back is busted again - sitting at the potters wheel maybe wasn't such a good idea last night - LOL!

I'm with you - those woods just beckon. I'm there in my daydreams.

Fëanor - nice to see you here. Teachers rock. Thanks for stopping by :-)
