Rolling green hills and water, could hardly be better. Very nice! Hope you are having a wonderful Friday, Terry! Woohoo, its almost the weekend - have a ton of fun with the gals etc if I don't speak to you before you leave. :-)
HEY A! Burning the midnight oil as usual aren't you! Well, since it is Friday, it's okay :-D
Having a Friday - they are all good, simply by virtue of their existence :-D Feel a bit better rested than yesterday at this hour... the graduation was long and stuffy, but those wee ones were adorable. Hunter and his buddy were troublemakers... made everyone laugh though.
Have a nice relaxing weekend - I'm ready for that mai tai right about now :-) Wonder how Trace's camping adventure is going? And, where's Lisa?
Boys will be boys, and thank goodness for that :-) Sure they must have looked like adorable in those little outfits, the thought makes me smile. So nice to do something that special for them, with parents and grandparents in attendance, they must have felt very proud of themselves :-)
Haven't spoken to Lisa at all today, makes me feel like I've left the oven on or something. :-) As for Trace, I almost hope she took a while settling into it, just so she can report back in her unique way some of those adventures. Actually, I'd wager, she's loving it - the great outdoors, what's not to love.
I'd tell you all about my day, but it just about knocked me out. :-D Thanks, Terry, xo
lol For a month, the only thing I've read and looked at is text books, blogs and email and I've been in memorize mode, wouldn't that be funny, if I've soaked up some up some of you guys too - I recognize another phrase from that message from someone else :-D Oh no! Where am I? ;-D
3 Days to Iceland :) I will watch teh weather forecast for you and let you know. It is a shame you missed teh 17th of June here. I had a wonderful time yesterday.
Mo'a - I had to run to Minka's to see what the fuss was about in Iceland yesterday! Ah - the great Independence Day! I'll be celebrating ours in London - ironically for sure! Sounds like fun - yum - Ponnukour...Yes, I'm ready to eat Icelandic delights :-)
Hi Neva - (I love Puppytoes :-D) So nice that you dropped by. I enjoy reading your blog and seeing your funny comments at Doug's and Laura's places amoung others :-) There are so many pretty places to be, aren't there?
Monika - do you know where a coffee fiend can find a good cup of coffee in Reykjavik? I'm going to need this very important information! We'll be staying in Hafnarfjordur the first few days, and then off to travel the country~ Your picture is so cute! Glad you had fun yesterday - and thanks for posting the details of the day. Very informative :-D
Keshi - there is no better day than Friday - even a terrible day Friday is better than any other day of the week :-)
Trée - :-D Tee hee - thanks for the well wishes. I'll be spouting pictures for the next few years from this trip - if I can figure out the new digital camera in time :-) I hope those pictures do it justice. What will I do for two weeks away from Blogger? There are some real big arse birds in Iceland - ravens to name just one, but no jays :-D
terry, there is Té og Kaffi, which I can recommend. They are very popular here. We donæt have a Starbucks-culture here yet...so teh best brew is probably at somebodies home. But if you are in reykjavik and you go down Luagarvegur-as every decent tourist does- you´ll find té og Kaffið and I promise you good stuff!
Ah, Monika you are a life saver :-D Thank you - and perhaps I will call you for a cup while we are there. I have to say I adore Starbucks, and regularly grab a mocha there, but hey, you can't expect everything the same as here now can you? Gotta see how the other half lives.
It would be a pleasure to meet you - are you up for it?
Take lots of raven pics then. Oh, and get some shots of those cool houses with the grass growing on top. I wonder if everyone leaves when it's time to cut the grass? :-D
Say hello to Sunshine for me when you get over there. :-)
Trée - Grass topped houses - ingenius, I agree. I just want to know how they don't leak. They don't cut it - just shove a sheep or two up top :-D
I'll give Autumn a big hug for you when I see her :-)
Elisa, Thanks so much for the coffee tips! We really bombed out last time looking for coffee places, and wound up at a gas station down by the harbor. They had good pizza "things".

Terry- I just left a comment on my blog about more coffee places. I second the Té og Kaffi option though.
