Furlough Friday

A Tropical Paradise?

With its azure blue waters, and luxurious green grass...

...silver waters shimmering and grass waving in the breeze.

It is early July at the south Icelandic coast near Þorlákshöfn. A perfect spot to take a furlough.

Thanks T - I'm soooo much cooler than last weekend! Going to have my grandson over tonight... not exactly my idea of peaceful, but certainly joyful. Happy Friday!

Sounds like a fair trade--a little joy in exchange for a little peace. Have fun. :-)

T - the weekend was great. It is such a treat to spend time with the little guy. We had a lesson on "don't swing on things"... when he swung on the bottle brush, it broke. No one ever believes the Grandma when she says "Don't swing on things or they may break"... now after he has found out for himself, perhaps the lesson will stick :-)

Autumn - see above. That kiddo is the apple of my eye, and we had a great weekend. Man, is it Monday already?
