MONDAY

Does anyone know what kind of bug this is? If you know, then apply the name to today. It is that kind of a Monday. Nothing in particular - just feels like I woke up on the wrong side of the bed or something. Perhaps it is a lingering of cobwebs from a bit of melancholy which struck me last night, of missing loved ones which I've lost recently. Sorry in advance to everybody I come into contact with today. I'm just plain grumpy. Hope it blows over soon... This stinks.

Yes Lisa, it is known around here as a "stink" bug. In rural southern California where I grew up, there were always loads of them just crawling along, minding their own business. We would come along, and then take a stick to tap on their behind to make them "stink". Up would go the butt end, and we would flee in paroxysms of giggles. Strangely enough, they give me a sense of nostalgia now. I never see them anymore.

Maybe the blues are going around... I'm still in the depths. Thanks Lisa so much for the lift though - it was appreciated. :-)

ah right, stink bugs...that was the name!
i like your childhood fun memory...
i think that was before Nintendo and Apple...
when life was simple and pure....
or something like that...
odd, my Sarah has been in a funk too,
cant seem to shake it,
doesnt seem to be anything that
can be "done" about it,
it just needs to move through
its own process in its own time i guess...
weird.
i think we're up to 38 celcius today
(i think thats about 1000 degrees fahrenheit)
all i know is it's damn hot,
whatever the numbers are...!
so that doesnt help,
plus it makes things smoggy and polluted...
oh well,
maybe i'll go do some drugs or somethin'....
(giggle)
xoxo me

Check out your temperatures here

I thought Canada NEVER gets hot! Surprise! The weather here has cooled considerably... in fact last evening I had to put on a long sleeved shirt to go outside! The fog came in off the coast and saved us.

Yesterday I was hunting for a picture to describe "funk", but couldn't find anything suitable. There IS no picture to describe it. It is just IS, as you said something which needs to move through it's own #%!@($&(#*&$(@#* process. I really detest feeling like this. And, I'm sure everybody around me wishes I would get over myself too. At least I'm not gaining weight! yay

You know I know. Oh if only there were a way to not hurt and still remember. So damned difficult.

I'll sit with you and await the passing of these blues. :)
Hugs.
