The Bear Family

I am giving thanks for the time of year afforded to some of us, where we are blessed to be able to get together with all or many of our loved ones. We are all scattered to the ends of the earth, but bear such a strong love and attachment to one another. I hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving who celebrates it.

Welcome back! I have to phone my beloved, much-missed cousin - more of a chimp than a bear - in L.A. in a few minutes, but I can't help wondering.....How many bears are there? You are a BEAR? Terry-Bear??.......As the Portuguese say, 'Dá para pensar'; it makes you think...

Actually Stu, I tend to lean more toward the Crow/Raven family - but I've been adopted by the Bear clan. :-D
I fell in love with a Bear - and now I'm forever hooked. (they give great bear hugs). Hmmmm 'Dá para pensar' ? I love it. My Bear does ponder on many things :-)
Eu amo seu língua qual animal são you?: )

The Bear family looks so very happy. Which one is Mamma on the other photo....was that one taken in a Sumarbustad in Iceland?
These are wonderful photos.
And you are right, even though our loved ones are far away, they are always in our heart.

I just found my way back in before pillow-hitting time. And I am blown away with your Portuguese!!! which machine served you that up. First the clean-up: you meant to say:
Gosto da (or Adoro da) tua língua.
Then. Tu es qual animal? (we are friends, so we can use 'tu' for 'you') 'São' is plural.
Eu sou tigre! GGGGrrrr!
And one last thing to close down today's class: A Minha lingua é, como a minha nacionalidade,....English!!! Londres born & bred! Confused? Night-nightxxx

OG - Thanks for stopping by :-) That clan is a wonderful warm and loving clan at that. How was your holiday?

Mo'a - that reunion was at a summer/boyscout camp south of Thingvillir (not far from that picturesque church perched on the edge of the lake). Mamma is dead-center - lovely, with brown hair, turning the page of the photo album :-), with sister "S" helping to turn the page, and another sister "M" sitting across the table in the middle. Wonderful wonderful family.

Great photos. I'll sing a round of Kung Fu Fighter any old time. I remember that frmo my cubdom.

And it was good to hear you were consorting with beagles. That's always a mark of noble character.

Wonderful, happy family pics. :D Big smile on my face. Surely glad you had a good holiday.
Thanks for stopping by. Yep, it is good that my cousin is moving next door. Definite peace of mind! He's a good kid. (kid? He's 30...that's showing my age LOL)

I loved your Poptart story. So sorry you didn't get any presents from the folks that year. (grin) I find that there are things from our childhood that are better if we remember them like we do. Some mysteries need not be solved.

Hugs and love.
