Here is my sweet 5 year old grandson, so in love with his new Spiderman boxing gloves that he refused to take them off before going to bed. What is it about a sleeping child that makes one want to tear up... just can't help it. I was inspired to post this due to a post by Kyahgirl.

A long day of climbing walls and spinning webs will do that to you.

It's good to see your grandson at your place.

JJ - Our kids are a wonderful gift to us. They do have different phases LOL (like angel and devil :-D) but they also enrich our lives endelibly.

Hi Angela - Thanks! Nice to see you pop in.

Autumn - yes!!Like your sweet one :-)

Doug - your are such a poet, weaving your images with just a few words :-) Thank you for your kind thoughts - this pictures was from Christmas Eve - the last night Hunter was free to spend the night at my home. However, he is coming over later today to help old Grandma bake some cookies.

okay, back to baking
macadamia apricot raisin
chocolate chip peanut walnut
pecan oatmeal cookies...

LOL Lisa - Haven't decided which ones to make yet... although I'm leaning hard toward just plain oatmeal cookies, to which there is no comparison. I like em with walnuts too.

Galen - To imagine myself an artist is a lofty goal. You are correct though - I wear my emotions in plain view: hence the reason I don't play poker :-)

javajazz said...

hi T!!
we're attempting varying configurations of cookie,
and Sarah started
up with this macadamia fetish...
feh, as my people say...!
my personal fave?
oatmeal chocolate chip...
she wanted raisin last time...
gross me out!
you wanna wreck
a damn good cookie?
then put raisins in them!
sheesh!

and Terry? one of the many
things that makes you so
loveable,
is that you are yourself,
real and straightup...
let someone else
"win" the poker game.
(sheesh, dont get me started...!)
(tee hee!)
(nyuk nyuk!)
jeez...
oy.

I agree - raisens don't belong in oatmeal cookies!

And - you are right: I yam what I yam. What you see is what you get. oy!
