What a very beautiful dramatic photo...the photo tells it all....My God as we cry out I sure know how this touches all of us . Makes us snap out of the stupid things in life and so this accident will not be in vain.We have had our share of what your going through. I watched a movie that made me cry because it brought all this up. Geo will call you this weekend will you be home?

This kind of loss is so senseless, but the family that gathered around it means a lot.

oh i remember those sweetie little redheads...
god, they're so beautiful...
was Josh a redhead too?
indeed, this will change the course
of all your lives...
it may appear to make no sense now,
but in time, your thoughts, feelings,
questions and reflections
will take you all to a new place
of a different sort of learning....
and right now
you all need a little bit of time
to be extra gentle with yourselves...

sweet kids....

I am so sorry to hear of this, gosh...there are no words.
Maybe it is good it makes no sense...imagine such a tragedy would! There is no justification, no clarification nor enlightenment to be had.

Just breathe...in and out...and hopefully there will come a day when this is not the first thing popping into your and your family's mind upon awakening.

Yes Anne - we aren't planning on being out of town this weekend for once but we may be in and out of doors in the garden. Love to chat with you! I didn't see the pic of the Bear and the Crow - show me! I think it is a grand idea that you are doing cards - more easily sold.

Ebezp: That picture says it all.

Autumn - thanks for your caring thoughts. Sometimes I just still can't believe it is really true
that Josh is gone.

Jules - your words make me cry. Our mom was/is my hero and she would be crying right along with us at this tragedy. I'm there with you in my heart.

Doug - Family is the substance of life at times...I am so grateful for mine.

Crazy Me - :-(

Actonbell - It was terribly sad that day.

Lisa - you know Josh was often heard to tell people pointedly that "My hair is not red - my hair is BROWN". He had the most beautiful head of light brown, tousled curls.

Thanks Julie - you know they are beautiful kids - loving and sweet. My sister Sal told me last night that were it not for those kids who desperately need her, she would happily be called home to be with Josh.

Diesel - thank you. Your prayers are very much appreciated.

Mo'a - you with such a tender Ama's heart are so thoughtful.

Neva - Your words are a soothing hand upon my sadness. Thanks sweetie.

Sherri - Hmmmm - did you notice that their hair is a tint of red? :-) Very good Dr. Watson. Thanks too for the kind thoughts.

Minka - how did you know about our first waking thoughts? It is truly like that - upon becoming conscious in the morning come the first thoughts of Josh - and then coming on the heels of that crushing reality is the disbelief and finally, questions as to why oh why.

Dan - It is sweet of you to have come by with condolences. Thank you.

Ah, my Squirrely friend - thanks for your visit. Finding God's love has been a bit of a challenge lately - more so than usual.

Matthew - thanks for stopping by, and for your prayers. It is my pleasure to link you on my sidebar - everybody please visit the "Looking For Our Little One"
link of my dear friends' son Matthew and his wife as they begin their process of adopting an orphan from another country.

The worst part is to be so young and to not understand why this had to happen to them. Why any of us?

A picture that says a 1000 words!
