RABBIT RABBIT
Spoken in the spirit of the first day of August.

Having just driven across 4 states this past week, I saw some beautiful country. Although I didn't see this particular scene, here is a view of RABBIT EARS Spire from the White Sands Missile base in New Mexico.

We said Tibbar, Tibbar, and thought about you this morning. We keep thinking about you. I'm so sorry.

Anne - thanks for coming by. I'm still in awe of your pictures of Alaska. My dad is on his way driving there right now for 2 weeks - he is going to Kodiak on his birthday (8/12)

JJ - thanks always for the kindness. I'm home, but my heart is still in Wyoming, with a little boy gone.

Jeanne - yes - how strange that I actually managed to say Rabbit Rabbit in spite of the upside-downness of my world today. Thanks for your caring thoughts.

Autumn, I'm always uplifted when I see your unique avatar, because I can see you smiling behind it :). Thanks for stopping over - it means a lot. I'm trying to make sense of something that makes no sense.

Lindsey - that is exactly the best way to take a roadtrip! I speak from experience :-) Throw in a very hairy big dog into the back seat, a brother and a son, and you have a very interesting mix of road companions. Try it!

Angela - I appreciate your prayers. There is not much else that will help.

Somethings just don't, and even though we know that, it's hard not to keep trying. My heart goes out to you, to your sister, to everyone who knew and loved Joshua. Blessings at this time are the closeness of your family and being able to comfort each other and help one another understand that sometimes just as miracles happen, tragedy does too. No rhyme or reason, at least not for us to understand. I know too that you have some very special memories of Joshua, and that these will help you through too, memories that when they come will make you feel as though he were right there with you, and thus he shall continue to live in your heart and in all of those who will continue to remember and miss him. Truly am so very sorry for the loss you all have suffered. Hugs to you, Terry.

Oh my god! I just read the post below and my heart goes out to you and your family... I cannot even begin to imagine what you are all living right now, especially your sister... and he was so young!

I am so, so, so sorry and hope you are well and, to echo everyone above me, welcome home.
