This beautiful and refreshing moment of midnight sun,
captured around 2 A.M. on a warm summer night
was brought to you from the north west coast
of Iceland. Here you can look across the fjord
and see rugged snow capped mountains to the south.

Happy Friday and wooo hooo it is a 3 day holiday weekend for President's Day.

Red - I know pictures are somewhat plain and boring things to behold, especially with no poems or real discussion, but when I see those pictures and remember the stunning landscape of Iceland, I just HAVE to put it up.

Yellowdog Granny - as one from the wide open spaces in Texas, I bet you would keel over in a dead faint if you saw the beauty that is Iceland. Only, I don't believe they have any tumbleweeds there...

Hey Mr. Sal - yes, I am relaxing. Manana I'm out to dig up my yard so I can get the sweet peas in before it's too late. Tax stuff isn't yet done, but the pressure is off for now. Thanks for sayin. And have a great weekend.

Jillie - did you get your cast off, good and proper??? NOW slow down woman, will you please? :) Any plans for the weekend?

That looks awfully familiar. I can not wait until the grass is green again and the midnight sun lightens up our lives. Each day we have more and I have actually turned off the Chrissy lights outside. No need anymore as the sun is still glimmering when I get home at night. Big Sigh, that is the joy of living here, you appreciate the sun again.
