I'm a bit down for the count

Feel better soon.

goddess bless you....
chicken soup....
vicks on the bottom of your feet...if that doesn't work..whiskey and hot water with lemon...won't make you any better, but then you won't give a shit either..

Bad enough to make a crow feel doggy?

So sorry to hear that...stay away from work...remember not to go back to work until Tuesday...I seem to remember that you don't like Mondays...no reason to add insult to injury.
When you get tired of the whiskey try same remedy with rum...always works for me...at least that is what I am told.

Feel better soon! I love the Granny's advice of hot whisky. You are sick, you can get drunk legally.

Colds are wicked! Especially when you think it's knocked out and it sneaks back for another round.

Seems that EVERYONE EVERYWHERE is sick these days. Good thing this virus doesn't spread through the computers. I do hope you're feeling better soon Terry!

Red Mojo - Thanks hon, the weekend is here but I'm buried in kleenex and cold meds.

Actonbell - thank you. *sneezes again*

G - My whole family says Gezundheit rather than the traditional "bless you". Thank you for the soup - nothing like the magical properties of real Jewish homemade chicken soup.

Hey Yellow Dog Granny - the whiskey and lemon juice worked... or did it? I can' remember a thing. What's that stuff on the bottoms of my feet?

Doug - This crow has never felt more doggoned doggy. Bleah.

Mo'a - I thought I could count on you for the Brennivin. :)

Ariel - you crack me up. One can always get drunk legally - as long as they are of age. Perhaps you meant to say "without guilt".

Birdie Anonymous - Alas the weekend is here but the cold is not gone. In fact this seems to be the worst day of all. Well, I'm no spring chicken any more so I guess it takes longer to get well.

Minka - thanks for the hanky. I've been through a whole drawerful already. I promise I shall bring some to Iceland next week so I don't spread my American cold germs to the Penguin :)

Lime - Thanks dear. I have been under the blankets for 3 days now - and I'm going nuts. I'm dragging my butt to the store for some more cold meds, soup and tea, and then it's back to the blankets.

McRaven - Say, that would be a nice way to feel :) I feel terrible complaining to someone who's been to hell and back. xo PS - Morphine makes me barf something awful.

Tom & Icy - I have an extra measure of sympathy for you having recently gone through the same thing. This bug is really kicking my butt. I think it is influenza A.

Anonymous - With your loving care I know I'm getting better faster. Thanks for putting up with a very grumpy crow.

Jillie - Oh, I thought I got it from the computer. LOL - you mean I didn't? LOL Could have fooled me. I've dodged the sick bullet all year - but at last... "auuuhhhh, you got me".... What is with that? I even got my very first flu shot this year. So much for that. Stay well xo

The only thing that's ever helped me avoid colds is taking large amounts of vit.C as soon as I feel it coming on, but it's too late for that this time, isn't it? Hot chicken bullion, honey, sleep. Showers with a lot of steam.

Am I a rock hound? Woof!

Jeanne - yet one more thing we share in common. I've got to stop bringing lava home from Iceland though... the yard is getting to full.

Sleep - yes. Hot shower? That does sound good. Honey? check. I did eat vitamin C but to no avail. I'm off to bed again.
