While in Chicago, we ate well.
This is from the VIP lounge - you know, lolling about in the easy chairs, sipping the drinks of our choice and waiting for the guest of honor to reappear... :)

Next day came the Navy pier - where we discovered famous Billy Goat Tavern extension (not the orginal establishment which is nearby downtown) .... as soon as you enter the joint the guy behind the counter yells "cheeseborger, cheeseborger, cheeseborger"... it is fabulous! (reminded me of the soup nazi for some reason)...

The place served a decent cheeseburger I know it looks bad, but we really did eat more than Billy Goat Cheeseborgers and Chicago hotdogs while we were there....

Anonymous - I split my double cheesburger and had two in one! Yummy.

Anonymous - Thanks for the new word (netherlone) Here we say "let alone". Rolled oats are yummy - I suppose I can't deny I am an omnivore to the core though. :-D You know how we crows are...

Red Mojo - HA HA HA! I have to say my meal on Easter a first ever on Easter - was a humble, completely vegetarian offering with a corn meal-plus-egg-&-olives casserole, some kind of fresh salad, and ice cream for dessert. So, no, didn't need the defib machine :-D

Minka - You only know the half of it! The lamb wasn't as good as in Iceland.

Ariel - As am I... still.
