This tired little pony was taking a break
between kiddie rides during the
Chinese New Year festival
in San Francisco.

It was a long day,
and he was weary, ready for Friday.
I wonder if he has a nice green pasture to
kick back in over the weekend.

It makes me weary just looking at the poor thing. I bet the weekend is its busiest time.

This is a tired old nag in Sweden, and I wonder if anyone will kick her over the weekend :)

he could retire on the back forty---how to have a small fortune , have a large fortune, then get a horse...

Is he a Gypsy poni? I love his hairdo.

Over the weekend is when he works the hardest.

Makes me tired just looking at him. I think he's snoozing behind that hair-do of his.

Tom & Icy - I like to hope that the pony gets some down time too.

G - Everyone deserves a bit of time off - even a weary pony. Hope the weekend is relaxing for you and your busy crew.

Jeanne - is that a trick question/comment? I wouldn't touch it :)

Lime - Awe - He's looking for you! A lifetime friend you'd be.

Anonymous - And no kiddie rides for the neighborhood children?

Ariel - This pony and his companions were tended by a Chinese family - they looked as though they were gypsy-like though at least in their traveling lifestyle. His pretty flowered mane caught my eye.

Dr. John - Perhaps his weekends are mid week. Surely he gets a break when his human keepers get theirs.

Photowannabe - Click on the picture to see his pretty dark eyes. He wasn't sleeping just yet.

Anonymous - Yes, hurray it is the weekend! Pony would enjoy mowing the back forty - it is grown high with tall grass and oats!

I once had a horse with a mane like that. We tried to kill each other a lot.

Ahhh, what a pretty pony. It reminds me of that miniature horse, Thumbelina, only a larger version of course.

Perhaps he is just tired of people sticking flowers in his mane.
