Good Luck this Month
How on earth did it get to be July already? Half the year is over, and that phenomenon of how time seems to gain momentum as the second half begins is more apparent than ever. I remember as a kid, time seemed to pass by so slowly, and waiting for anything was terribly hard (i.e. Christmas, Easter, birthdays or even a much longed for event such as sleeping over at a friend's house). Now I have just the opposite happening... where I often startle in amazement: "Oh no, how can it be that time already?" Now I find myself saying stuff like "Oh no, did I miss the mail already?", and gosh, it's already Tuesday... did you put the trash out already?"... I've been getting the Alzheimer jokes recently from the family - Lordy I hope it isn't THAT bad yet...!
Here's to a wonderful summer month of July ahead, with fireworks, lots of good bbq and parades in mind as we celebrate our Independence Day here in the U.S.

Its shocking how quickly things sneak up on me these days.
The only thing that went quick as a kid was summer, now the whole year goes by at summer speed!
Crazy
Happy 4th of July!
rabbit rabbit!!!
funny, i was thinking that too today,
like, "wow, another July already!"
its like speeding down
the rollercoaster faster
and faster as the years go by...
but July is my fave month...
and i love your festive
4th of july bunny...
Rabbit Wabbit!
Rabbit rabbit.
Is it really July already or did the bunny just get dressed up early?
Where did May and June go. I think I remember April.
Well I guess it's time to celebrate.
Rabbit, rabbit! Have a wonderful holiday!
Doug - keys got stuck on h o p today?
SOe - I see that you understand perfectly. Will you do my shopping for me too while you are at it?
Ariel the Thief: Rabbit Rabbit! I hope your computer is returned to you with lightning speed!
Anonymous - it does seem rather rabid, doesn't it? Love and peace to you my Love.
Logophile - I remember those summers going by oh so fast too. The way time's flying by now I'll finish the race in record time.
Lime: Rabbit Rabbit, and may this month be filled with sunshine and beaches - and no headaches.
Javajazz - I used to like rollercoasters - now not so much. Could it be that gravity has so much more to pull now then in younger days, that it is why I careen so much faster than I used to?
Tom & Icy - Naaahhhh, crunch crunch crunch - What's up Doc?
Dr. John - Good idea. It's always time to celebrate :) Time to listen to the band playing John Phillips Sousa in the park, eat hotdogs & watermelon, and wave sparklers.
Actonbell - Are you breaking out the hops in order to have a more cheerful holiday? Hop hop hop - Rabbit Rabbit.
Fred - Rabbit Rabbit - and may the Florida sunshine not bake you too crispy this month.
i love that rabbit..
i love this post...i swear you're reading my mind..thinking the same thing this morning..where the fuck did half the year go?....sigh*...
Is that a rabbit or a small kangaroo? :-P
If you give me some money, I will do the shopping for you :-) But no complaints about the gifts afterwards ;-)
Rabbit, rabbit. I hope the boomers don't scare the bunnies.
WERE WAITING FOR YOU.......COMON!
Wishing you a Happy 4th too Terry.
I hope the "alzheimer's" stays far away...only I can't remember if I said that already or not...
I think someone should do a study of why as you get older you feel that time goes faster and faster. They probably have already but it would be nice to have that perception answered don't ya think?
Happy 4th of July to you and all your American visitors to this blog :-)
