No, I didn't take this picture; I found it unclaimed on Stumbleupon. But isn't it gorgeous? They remind me of the fact that I've often aspired to go to the Pacific Grove area of the mid-California coast in order to see the migration of the orange Monarch butterflies in the fall... but somehow I've never made it. These stunningly beautiful blue butterflies in the above picture just amaze me - whatever kind they are I have a feeling there are none of them around here locally, instead probably located up in the tropics of an exotic rain forest somewhere. Whatever. The picture is enough when the real thing is unattainable.

I've been completely impossible with my blogging habits lately - I couldn't tell you why. I've just been acting like it is homework or something... look at me. Haven't even answered questions from posts a week ago... and what's up with that?? Shame on me. True, my Sweetie reappeared after some time away, but he's been gone lots longer than this in the past with no effect on the cessation of my blog. Whatever... I hope I get back into the swing of things soon, and I also fervently hope my ways of the sloth lumber away, allowing my normal energetic personality to once again emerge. HA!

Wow!!! That "is" an awesome pic!

About the blogging thing, it's sort of like I have times when I blog every day, then other times when I won't even visit my blog for a week or two. Real life, you know, the one away from the computer, it keeps interrupting with the blogging! lol...

im so addicted to blogging that even when I say I won't be around...I'm around..but I am deleted a lot of blogs that I normally read.....maybe I'm getting to be a horses ass, but when I go and visit someone's blog every single time they post and read it and leave a comment and they come by and read but don't comment ever..well, it gets old, maybe im wrong, but I figured fuck it..so now I have more time....that's nice...

I've been doing my Saturday stories like they were homework. That is a beautiful picture but I don't think those are monarchs, are they?

I TOTALLY understand the blogging thing! I miss the people that I have become friends with and that's what keeps me wanting to come back. That is such a beautiful picture. I love butterflies. They have an exhibit at the Wild Animal that's all butterflies and all kinds of little creatures. If you wear a bright shirt and sweet perfume and stand still long enough, they will land on you.

Hope you have a great wknd Terry!

Beautiful butterflies said the pot to the kettle. Although, you're still making a far better showing than I am lately as if you're treating you're blog posts like homework, I've just about dropped out of school. But I'm keeping a foot in the door.

dont worry about your sloth...
just do as you feel
when you feel...
blogging is never
an obligation,
its just a fun
recreational hobby
to express oneself
however and whenever
one feels...

There seems to be a slow down on blogging in the summer.
I blog when I have time and feel that I have something to share...many times I beat myself up about not blogging on a regular schedule...and not reading and commenting on friends blogs.

I've just noticed that the camera that photo was taken with can do blue and violet so nicely. Mine cannot always make a difference between them. Really beautiful.

We all go thru those blogging phases, when it feels like a chore. No fun when it hits.

The butterflies are gorgeous, that is a stellar blue, almost neon.

Thanks for coming to Flying and posting a nice comment, I really appreciate it!
