Bleak... cold and foggy

My path stretches out unknown

Sun breaks through the mist

A lovely creative take on light at the end of the tunnel theme, but so very poetic with realistic atmosphere. Hope you reach the rainbow and even the pot of gold at its end.

Bleak is beautiful, Actonbell.

Terry, are you telling us you have a job interview Tuesday at 10?

That almost sunshine only makes it clear that hope is further than you believed. Great photo, I love it.

I can not begin to explain how much I love this phot! I want it framed on my livingroom wall! I wrote a story about fog (fog enchantment), if you send me your email (djkirkby@gmail.com), I will send you the story.

Sometimes if you look its the Son breaking through the mist that fills our lives.

Good mood shift in so few lines.
The poem goes great with the photo.

AWESOME PHOTO! Terry, did you take this yourself or did you find it on one of your online meanderings? Kudos to you either way....for taking it, or for finding such a perfect capture of a moment!

Actonbell - I had nothing to do with the bleak (other than getting up before the crack of dawn) - it was gloriously there before my coming :) I just snapped a photo.

Thank you Tom & Icy for the nice thought. I'm still searching for that rainbow and I haven't quite given up yet. But almost.

Doug - Interview, schmitterview... they come and go without any notice of their passing... *heavy sigh*. That too was a nice thought while it lasted.

Lime - It was a spectacularly foggy morning along the water and I quite enjoyed it.

Javajazz - Is this a hint?
Hmmm
now I must ponder
how to be
more like
the weather

Fred - Eventually the sun will be here. Won't it?

Ariel, you have grasped it perfectly.

Anonymous - I bet you were cute then too. xo

DJKirkby - I am honored that you like my photo ;) I'd love to hear a story about it - better late (my reply) than never :) Do you even remember this picture by now? :) Consider it done.

Nessa - Thanks. Hey look - it's your old butterfly! I still love it and now I will be missing itl

Jackie Sue - You are still so funny. I don't see the sunspot (the one you plan to lay in LOL) Brrrrr

Dr. John - Your words are more inspiring than you know.

Weirsdo - I was trying for a lighter theme and conclusion - but it seems like the sun never did make it on through the fog.

Kelly - Thanks *beams proudly* I took that at the reservoir after getting up at the buttcrack of dawn and finding the world enshrouded by thick, swirling fog. It was fabulous.

Laughingwolf - Thank you so much for visiting my blog - nice to see you over here. That fog was cold - just as you imagined.
