Oh boy - here is where I'll be tomorrow - camping at Lake Davis, CA.

Guess I'd better remember to bring the fly for the tent this time - thunderstorms predicted~

Oh, that looks nice. Is it near the city of Davis?

Sweet! I'd be really jealous, except I go to Costa Rica tomorrow! Woo hoo! May we both be safe and have fun.

LGSquirrel - It is quite serene and remote, far from the blathering crowds found at some campgrounds... ~ahhhhh~ listen to the wind and the little splash of the wavelets on the shore.

Doug - Quite a ways from Davis, Lake Davis is near the California/Nevada border, about an hours drive from Reno. Cowboy country I reckon.

Quack Birder - I think you will see many new species for your new (bird) life list in Costa Rica. May your camera batteries not poop out and your journey be safe.

AP3 - I'll get it "straight" one of these times ha ha ha...

Wow! That looks great! And TREEES! Have fun and stay save from the storm!
I am going camping in first week of August - baltic sea coast in Germany. Hope the temperatures go down a bit - otherwise I will stay in Iceland!
I like the new layout of my blog too. I love Dandelions nearly as much as trees :-)
