There is a beautiful getaway at a place in southern Oregon called the Shooting Star Hotel... it was so fine. Simple, but in a great surrounding... I highly recommend it. Not so much because of the ammenities of the hotel, but because if you are there, it means you are... ON VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!

I know a pretty good getaway in Southern California, too and it comes with Catble TV, HBO, DVD player and RV parking. No gift shop, but a pretty cool beagle.

Those are developmental disability phones, Karen, and yes, they use them to order supper.

Monika - We did - first time traveling with my Dad in many years. It was pretty funny actually, and quite refreshing.
