Hi all - not much time to check in this weekend. Been having horrible dreams about the big show tonight which I had to help coordinate (you know, the kind of dream where you suddenly realize you are in a room of your coworkers with no pants on) and yesterday I had my virgin experience at Ikea... my son and daughter in law tell me we were there 5 hours. Man, I have no words as to how I actually accomplished that feat. Got out without spending much - although I have ideas about what I'd like if I should ever go back there. It was much like a Disneyland experience - more of an event rather than something to classify as "shopping". The most difficult part was of course the crowds. I seem to have been developing an aversion for such over the past few years. I crave the lonely spaces of trails, empty roads, and the tranquility of windy beaches and quiet forests. But alas, I'm off to San Francisco, have to get all dressed up, and meet alot of famous albeit talented people.

Blogger is giving me fits - can't get the pics I want. So I'm out of time - bah humbug. I'll post more later.

Hi Autumn & Trace! Happy Monday to you! My email is messed up somehow - my blog comments are not being forwarded to my email so I don't even see them right away :-( Seems like a lot of things are breaking around here!! That's okay - I'm a happy girl today. The show last night was spectacular in every way. Wow, I'm still "jazzed" about it... LOL
They can really knock your socks off with their brass - I can honestly say it was the best show I've ever been privileged to hear live.

Keshi, ever been to The City? (San Francisco of course) It is gorgeous to behold, but hellish to drive in! Lots of one way streets, hills, and pedestrians! I like to take a train and/or the bus rather than driving. And it is murder on the bike... (harley) because of all the rails in the street for the electric buses and street cars.

Hi Anne - Ikea - how can I have escaped it for so long? Well, I don't see myself going back anytime soon. Just too much stuff! A person could really go insane there. Really.
