The rain, rain, rain, came down, down, down
In rushing, rising, rivlets
'Til the river crept out of it's bed
And crept right into Piglet's
Poor Piglet he was frightened
With quite a rightful fright
And so in desperation
A message he did write
He placed it in a bottle
And it floated out of sight...
And the rain, rain, rain, came down, down, down
So Piglet started bailing
He was unaware atop his chair
While bailing he was sailing
And the rain, rain, rain, came down, down, down
And the flood rose up, up, upper
Pooh too was caught and so he thought
I must rescue my supper
Ten honey pots he rescued
Enough to see him through
But as he supped up his supper
The river supped up Pooh
And the water twirled and tossed him
In a honey pot...

The rain is just pouring buckets outside... so much for gardening ever again. Sigh. I do like the rain... but where's the balance? Afterall, this isn't Seattle or anything...

Dear old pooh bear.
How about a reverse rain dance - a rain-stop dance, you never know until you try :-)

That poor garden of yours!

Came here via Moa-the lady with the Icelandic Santas :)
She told me to say hi and I am glad I did!
about the rain?
"I am singin´ in the rain..."

Every watery cloud, must have a sunny lining ;)

Pooh Bear and especially Piglet always manage to lighten my spirits - I used to sing that song to my kids when they were small before bedtime. I think the rain will actually cease tomorrow - (Sunday) but the ground is still soaking, sopping wet. Thats okay - today I'll do some spring cleaning inside the house. Did I hear you say you are now and Auntie?

A great-aunt no less, the eldest of brother's daughters gave birth to a baby girl on St. Paddy's.

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend thus far, x
