OLD FOLKS
Old folks are worth a fortune:
With silver and gold in
their teeth,stones in their kidneys,
lead in their feet and gas in their
stomachs.I have become a lot more
social with the passing of the years;
some might even call me a frivolous gal

I'm seeing five gentlemen
everyday.As soon as i wake,Will Power
helps me get out of bed. Then i go see John
Then Charley Horse comes along, and when
he is here he takes a lot of my time and attention.

When he leaves Arthur Ritis shows up and stays the
rest of the day.He doesn't like to stay in one place
very long so he takes me from joint to joint. After
such a busy day,i'm really tired and glad to go to bed
with Ben Gay. What a life!

The preacher came to call the other day.He said
that at my age i should be thinking about the hereafter.
I told him i do -all the time.No matter where i am
in the kitchen, upstairs or down in the basement-i
ask myself,"Now,what am i here after?"

I've been very crinky in the mornings... nothing to do with age I'm very sure.

Oh no!!!!you changed the photo....what happened to the photo of the stunning couple you had a couple of hours ago, when I did not have time to comment, because the timer on the oven went off and dinner was ready.
Interesting poem.....although I cannot relate.....well OK :)

I got stuck grinning after "stones in their kidneys,
lead in their feet and gas in their
stomachs", which shows my age ;o)
But it's mostly because it brought back memories of my grandmother lol.
Nice post, Terry :-)
Have a good night. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow, x

If crinkiness had something to do with age, I should be a fossil by now lol!

Thanks Doug :-)

Mo'a - well, you caught me. I might post that "stunning couple" (LOL) pic again one day - it just seemed like a picture most folks would just yawn turn the page from... you know, a little personal. Consider yourself one of the only ones to catch it :-)

Good afternoon A - I'm so glad to bring up memories of your grandmother. I remember you posting a picture of a Christmas at her home... with you in a dress... at least I think that was you... anyway Cheers for Happy Friday :-)
