There are no shortages of waterfalls in Iceland... they are everywhere. To get a feel for the size of this one, look down near the bottom to see the little people :-)

Is that Gullfoss in late autumn? Maybe around the end of august? It just has to be...I am not 100% though!

Next year, what's say I come see you in Iceland while you are there - and this place is my only must. Perfect, love it, its beautiful! Lucky you, 12 days and counting...

Happy Friday to you, Terry, hope you're having a most wonderful day, xo

Hi Trace (waves from the beach chair)...

Annonymous - full steam ahead :-D

Monika - I too thought Gullfoss - but perhaps taken from a different vantagepoint than the usual pictures. The water is so low!

Autumn - great idea! Only once you've seen a few other choice Icelandic scenes, you will have many more "must see's..." :-D In fact you might not want to leave!

You have me stumped....in some ways it looks like Gullfoss but then again? It is a lovely photo...did you find it on the web?
11 days :)

Actonbell - this response is perfect!

Mo'a - I know - I've compared that photo with pictures I took myself of Gullfoss, and it doesn't quite match my angles. I probably did get it off the web while surfing - can't remember where. Maybe it is a new waterfall we don't know! I'll let you know if I find it :-)

Morning G&T, a happy sunday to you both :-)

Yeah...I have to wonder too. the rock formations look like Gullfoss. The waterlevel is questionable though. But judging to the size...look at the people in comparrision it has to be a big one.
Uhh...how about Goðafoss in the north close to Akureyri?
Bugger I have to find out!

Happy Monday :-)

For Monday:
Virus warning
There is a dangerous virus being passed electronically, orally and by hand.
This virus is called Worm-Overload-Recreational-Killer (WORK).
If you receive WORK from any of your colleagues, your boss or anyone else via any means DO NOT TOUCH IT. This virus will wipe out your private life completely. If you should come into contact with WORK put your jacket on and take two good friends to the nearest bar. Purchase the antidote known as Work-Isolator-Neutralizer-Extractor (WINE) or Bothersome-Employer-Eliminator-Rebooter (BEER). Take the antidote repeatedly until WORK has been completely eliminated from your system.

Worst one yet, am I right? :-D

Monika, I guess I'll have to check it out when we are there. We are going up to the northern part of Iceland and then perhaps even around the whole thing, depending upon how G's Mom fares with our rough way of travel :-D Would love to know where this waterfall is!

HA HA - Autumn, best not to take the antidote until after hours!!! Yes, worst one to date! :-)

We're off to our rocky island (Gotland) tomorrow. We bought a new and larger memory card for the camera, so I am fully prepared.

G'Morning - hope you have a great day!

Yes, Angela, it IS rather chilly. But I understand the urge to walk barefoot across it... I get the same feeling :-)

Anne, welcome home! That is a lot of miles you covered, physically, and heartwise. Sit down and take a load off. hugs

Okay Jeanne - looking forward to some creative shots of a place I've never seen :-) Have fun while you are there! Is doggy going with you?
