"We have not the reverent feeling for the rainbow that the savage has, because we know how it is made. We have lost as much as we gained by prying into that matter."

Wonderful rainbow, and since I don't know how it is made, I still believe that there is a pot of gold at the end of it!

It's funny isn't it.
We long to grow up when were young...but we leave so much magic behind in the 'growing' up don't we.
The beauty of a rainbow, for ever changed because we 'know'.

I'd love to be able to walk across that rainbow and sit on it!

Thanks for your comment Peter. It IS hard to capture a perfect rainbow - LOL if there even is such a thing :-) I was in your fair state on Saturday - a big muggy there at JFK!

Monika - I'm with you. Forget the whys and wherefores - and just enjoy it :-) (Doesn't it all have something to do with smoke and mirrors anyway?)

Tai - the magic never really goes away. Just close your eyes for a moment...see?

Tom or Icy - (I never know which of you to address, LOL) I know Icy could do it!

Mo'a! Nice to hear from you! When I was in Iceland last time, we saw a double rainbow as the wind whipped up misty waves on a pond out Snaefellsness way... two swans floated serenely along as if untouched by the wind.

Keshi - :-) How are you?

Lisa, Yes - A told me you were away for a little bit... sounds wonderful having the kids around. BTW, maybe I should go to that camp! I'm trying oh so hard to drop a few of those extra rolls myself. It didn't go on fast - and I know it will come off even slower. But I'm trying, one lemon cleansing drink at a time. :-) plus cayenne. yum.
