LOL too funny. I think Momma Earth is a bit moody. What happens to us when she gets PMS?
Right now, I think we're getting her cold shoulder. Brrrr...snow again in Dallas tonight. YIKES.

oh, I love that. where do you find the stuff you post...i love coming over here, you make me smile everyday.

tsduff said...

Gareth - but that is truly natural, yes?

Aggie - oh yes, she is very moody indeed. Remember what happens when you try to fool her? :-D Still waiting for those joggers in little shorts to run by, aren't you?

Actonbell - ha ha ha when I see your avatar it just cracks me up.

Hey Keshi! How's the weather way down under? We are all freezing on this side of the world... xo

G-man - could be...

Hi Minka - I know I know, if anyone should complain about the weather, it could be you! All the snow melt in Reykjavik yet? brrrrrr. I like the Mother Earth in the sidebar too - it is sort of how I like to picture her.

Searching... never saw that one before LOL! Never called you Jorge either. xoxo

Hi Jodes - how's the migraine today? Completely gone I hope.

Unknown said...

Do you have underarm hairs too??? ;)

jillie said...

HAHAHA...that's funny. I don't see any underarm hair? That's a shadow like you see on her wrist and hands.

I've tagged you so now you have to check out my blog to see what it is....xo

why does Big Bear need a new handle? is his old one broken? i always thought anonymous was so, um, anonymous...how about Big Bird, G? i keep almost calling you Big Bird? it would be funny as it has nothing to do with Bears and just so random...oh nevermind, i'm just spouting on as usual...

however, i must say, your philosophical comment holds much deep meaning, as i imagine it might...being a late bloomer myself, sometimes its nice to save some stuff for later...worth waiting for and all that, and just all relaxed like Mother Nature, all things in their time...very cool,
G,B,J!

G-Man said...

It's 10 degrees out now......
LETS DO IT!!!

tsduff said...

Gareth - LOL! Of course, don't you?

Jillie - you crafty one you! Nice list - jeez LOUISE, the letter "Z"????? Man alive, what ARE you thinking? LOL! What the hey, maybe I'll learn a thing or two. *rolls up her sleeves*

CozyMama said...

yep Terry - gone - history and I just got a new scrip filled for migraine meds to take when the next one comes, which I hope is a long time from now.

Anonymous said...

hey J/J ,well big bird would be good--always good to go out and soar the skies--but think he was earth bound--anonymous, was never really anonymous--G, well the line which g are you talking about does not appeal to me--gb,used for years/maybe a time for change--bear,think time to retire it and just use it for private chats with my sweetie--so i have settled on ,bjarni,-its my history(for a man with no past),it is not often seen,so it can give me a little distance from the common helots--most persons can not pronounce it(like that)--so its settled ,bjarni, it is--hope all is well in your neck of the woods--very cool what a friend to terry you have become--reading the hamilton paper today, think that may be in your neck of the woods.....HELLO SWEETIE-hope the day is spinning your way and all is good...PEACE LOVE PROSPERITY TO ALL

Anonymous said...

oh and ,jorge,---saving that for cooper canyon,mexico--SOMEDAY!!!!

tsduff said...

Jodes, glad to hear it. Now don't lose those meds!

JJ - see response from Bjarni. He seems to have the answer for you better than I could have said.

Bjarni - :-)

Just telling it like it is said...

Not very pertty is she?

Steven said...

Oh man...that's gonna hurt. ;)

Steve~

She looks scary.
:-) Too funny!

Happy Wednesday, Terry - hope all's is well and now that the whole tax thing is over, that you will be having a wonderful sigh-of-relief-type evening just hanging. :-)

I used to be able to say that I'd never shaved anything anywhere, but yesterday that ceased to be the case. I didn't do the actual shaving, and I was drugged at the time, and I don't think they had a choice, but I could without embarassment wear a skimpy bikini today. If you didn't count the overhang, that is.

CozyMama said...

my pink caddy......HA. I am not that into it...but I know women who do have them and I have rode in a couple, they are pretty sweet. I can hook you up though, if you ever need anything.

jillie said...

Well Terry...that's cuz you "Z" bestest! ;o)

javajazz said...

okay, its settled then, Bjarni it is!
what a most excellent and unique choice! do we assume the "J" is pronounced like a "Y"?

in retrospect, now, i dont think i was terribly accurate with the Big Bird name...maybe Cool Bird, for you who likes to freely fly here and there in your explorations of the world...but Bjarni is just perfect, suitably original, and completely unique unto you!

hey, i'd love to see more photos of you kids, T and B! (only if you ever feel like posting some!) it's just that you're so sweet together...

and ya, your sweet Terry is pretty darn cool! she just gets stuff, and appreciates so many of the off-the-wall comments that many people can often be put off by...so its always a pleasure to share with kindred spirits, creative thinkers, artistic souls, and all that jazzz!

I think the payback is a coming.
Internet headlines today state scientists have been pressured by the current administration to tone down any information which supports global warming.
In other words people who have scientific proof there is indeed global warming have had their arms twisted behind their backs and told to shut up.

Thanks for your very kind words today.

Just Tellin... Welcome O keeper of the eggcup on her blog....ha ha. Mother Nature has many faces - not all are considered pretty.

Oh my goodness - a visit from the venerable, most amazing Steve Novak... I'm honored. And yes, I think it IS going to hurt.

Sal - Glad you perservered. Blogger is nuts today - I ended up leaving about 50 comments (all the same damn one) at Javajazz's place - grrrrr.

Good morning Autumn... MN IS scary at times. But you have to respect her :-)

Tax stuff only done up to phase one. Phase two begins tomorrow. But it is nowhere near as awful... it will go much more quickly because I've got all the data entered from phase one :-) The pressure is off.

So how many days until the 10 days are up? (work days, that is) 2 or 1? I hope you get to have a glorious time with K's bday and getting some down time to yourself. Hugs xo

Jeanne - You Swedish gals are awesome - after having been drugged and shaved (sounds like another kind of movie... LOL) you bounce back with a bit of humor. I hope you are being properly waited on and are safely tucked away under the duvet. (To cold for a bikini anyway) Get well soon!

Jodes - thanks dear. Once my good friend tried to recruit me to sell Mary Kay, but I am useless to the brand because I just don't wear any make up.

JJ - awe, *shuffles toe in the dust*... you are too kind. Did you know that bjarni is picture shy? Kinda like blooming pants. ha ha

TC - Nice of you to stop by :-) Yes, I think the government was *gulp* hiding the facts from the people! Can you imagine? I think our collective geese are cooked.

Was wondering... exactly what is your cat avatar doing? Did he just eat a bird?

javajazz said...

my pants were definitely not shy, all loud and plaid like that, it was the wearer, actually, i might not even be that shy in my old age anymore either,(depends who's looking) but i didnt want my ass ass-ociated with the u of p or bri's institute, and yet, there it was, plain as day...you want to know about this top of the line jazz institute? click - and there was my plaid bum! ya! such a proud moment..."and you're the mother of which Fellow?" "nothing!"

javajazz said...

man, i dont think i'll ever recover from that...especially when it was my ex who told me how he discovered my blog, which a) i was always SO hesitant to start, and b)i never advertise...
anyway, back to photo shy Bjarni...(remember B, there ARE no secrets in blogland...?)
(boy, thats for sure!)
but i digress...! (woo hoo!)
well, i understand shyness. i love photos, even if i look like a scrawny gray mess, but mostly i love seeing photos of other peoples stuff, both faces and all the gorgeous stuff i see from you and Autumns collection...but photos of people tell lots of stories...stories of their heart and soul, stories of things that are stored away on deeper levels...i love to see all the different stories...its neat. or maybe i'm just a voyeur and nuts.

oh, and ps, Terr? loved the one comment 50 thousand times again...i know, how about you just press publish ONCE! and even if it looks like its messing up, just leave it, and know that eventually, when Blogger FEELS like it, it'll go thru...i know, its frustrating....
and i've thoroughly enjoyed erasing all the repeats (i'm so OCD, its not funny...) hey, a tidy blog is a happy blog...
awwww dont worry about it!! i'm just kiddin' around! (i have to say that now...)
JUST KIDDING!!!! JOKEZ NOUS!!
HA HA R US! stuff like that...
(whew, i think my mind is suffering from excessive inhalation of cabbage fumes...

Jeanne said...

I don't think my 20+ years here entitles me to be a Swedish gal, even if I imagine I've absorbed a bit while my roots have been sunk into a different soil. I'm still an American gal, and practically of your vintage. I tend to think of myself as an earth gal, though.

another day in paradise somewhere i am sure--think i am starting to enjoy paint fumes--on second coat of primer for living room wall--just doing one wall,on kitchen side--because i am going to have to paint it again when, color picked for outside wall--and ceiling---i give,i scream uncle,i concede--hey the kitchen look great--that was priority

Dan said...

Mother Nature is pretty shapely!

Do you have her phone number?

tsduff said...

JJ - Yes, I loved your pants are blooming post. A classic for sure.

Yes, a tidy blog is what we all dream of. I will try my hardest to STAY AWAY from the publish button. :-) tap tap tap tap... AUUUGHHHH the "can't find server" message just loves me. Blogger is really insane today. Me too.

a nice stick of incense can help with those noxious cabbage fumes - just don't blow up your house... LOL

Jeanne - I like that... of my vintage... sounds special, like a fine wine :-) glad to hear you are still an American Girl, like Tom Petty sang about, albeit a little far from your soil of origin. Earth gals are the best :D

Thank you so much Mo'a - it is always wonderful to hear the syllables of that beautiful language repeated. I wish I knew more of it.

Bjarni - take a walk out by the lake - let the breeze flow over you, (through that gorgeous hair of yours) and cleanse your lungs.
Love Fugle Hugs

Dan - Just take a step outside where the trees can be seen, the earth under your feet can be felt - whisper her name on the breeze ... I'm sure she'll take your call :-D

Jodes, this day is just creeping by... man when is it going to end? Blogger is creeping too. Grrr.

ODG - Enjoyed hearing about Utah -and all the bumping into thing... LOL did you post any pics yet? I'll be right over.

javajazz said...

i have Mother Nature's phone number!
its 1-800-i just swallowed the entire planet earth and my right boob is all copper coloured...

(hope you dont get her voicemail)

no, sorry, actually, its 1-800 my face is the colour of baby food (strained peas) and i have pieces of Birkenstock stuck in my big hair which is made out of leftover forest...

please leave a message after the beep...

javajazz said...

jeez, do you think (ob)noxious cabbage fumes can ignite? wouldnt that be wild, if my dishwasher exploded and all this ground cabbage blasted out from it? i finally did break down and called a nice plumber named George...so lets see, thats 200 bucks canadian for noodles, 100 for the cabbage, providing he can get it exhaled from my dishwasher...i really need a new dishwasher, i think that almost would have covered the price...sheesh.
and yes, i know its probably a sign not to be using the ecologically unsound garbage disposal...

javajazz said...

Bjarni is so nice to be doing all that painting! i know what you mean about the fumes tho...i did a whole bunch of outdoor painting end of the summer, and when i got into the rust proof paint which has the really GOOD smell that you just gotta love, i kind of went into a paint trance after a while and i didnt seem to want to stop. i painted right into the evening and it got dark and i just kept on going till i couldnt see...woo hoo!
actually i mostly just wanted to get the job done already! so i'm sure B will be the hero of the hour for having done all that wonderful painting!

jillie said...

Well better late than never...but HHNT to ya...I can't wait to slow down...ugh!

I need alcohol...STAT!

Doug The Una said...

Hey, my comment's missing. I bet it was funny, too.

Do you think Mother Earth and Blogger are dating?>

G said...

It's not nice to fool your mother. Nice place you have here Terry.

G said...

I just read your profile. Thanks for the reminder that I loved "My Life as a Dog". What a wonderful movie. And we both enjoyed Harold and Maude I see.

tsduff said...

JJ - you are a nut. :-)

no, sorry, actually, its 1-800 my face is the colour of baby food (strained peas) and i have pieces of Birkenstock stuck in my big hair which is made out of leftover forest... ROFLMAO Excellent description :-D

But hey, you can't even use a new dishwasher until you have cabbage-free pipes through which the water can flow... ;-)

I remember your painting escapades - they were similar to mine. But if I remember the rain caught you unawares...

Jillie - LOL I didn't think you were capable of slowing down!!! I just can't see it...

Doug, If that were the case, the sparks would be so mighty that Blogger would never survive such a relationship. Mother Nature eventually always wins.

Why G, how nice to see you over here! (not to be confused with G, GB, or G-man) Sheesh, what IS it with that letter anyway - there seems to be a surge of popularity lately... I lovelovelove (to borrow Neva's phrase) that you recognized that "It's not nice to fool Mother Nature"... it's been going through my brain all day :-)

My Life as a Dog was a classic... (got any coconuts?
:-))
And, yes, Harold & Maude is a movie I enjoy watching with my Sweetie - (another but quite distinctly different sort of G) Lovely to see you.

Terr-y!
Terr-y!
Terr-y!

come on baby,
even Bjarni is kindly
and gently requesting
a new post! i think its
those beautiful photos
you always manage to find...
they are wonderfully soothing
and you put those nice poetry
bits on them...they are very
nourishing to all who are lucky
enough to read them!
now, normally i never have the
nerve to demand that anyone
write a new post before they
are so inclined to do so
themselves when they bloody
well feel like it, but mother
natures black and white ass
is actually starting to
upset my delicate cosmic
balance and i'd just kill
for a gorgeous Terry image to
give me a little boost...
i cannot believe that Bjarni
requested you re-post that
gorgeous photo of you two
from that florida post, because
i thought the EXACT same thing
when i saw it!! you guys
look sooo beautiful together
it was a sight to behold...
sooooo, i'm not usually this
pushy and demanding, but i'm
willing to make an exception
because...
Terrrr-eee!
Terrrr-eee!
Terrrr-eee!
come on girl...
who loves you?
you can do it!
your people are waiting!!!
(no pressure...)

(hee hee!)

and B, you'd better be
careful in that Florida
sun that you dont fry up
like a little potato chip!
(lisa's idea of a suntan
is when my skin goes from
pale green to pale olive...)
i like to worship the sun
from a distance...usually
somewhere in the shade!

xoxo y'all

Geez, what a week. Just needed to make sure to get here and say hey. Been really super busy and then on top of it all with blogger being a pain yesterday, or was that the day before?? Geez, I have completely lost track, I just know that it is just about weekend time and it couldn't come any quicker! Hopefully will be able to catch up more next week.

Hope things are well with ya Terry.

Great post by the way :)

Hugs,
Meg
