OH MY GOD your mama is a brave woman! SIX kids! WOOH to her 'cause I am SO done with two!

That having been said, it must have been fabulous to grow up with so many siblings and to have so many siblings to be close to as an adult.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of one of your sisters. I lost a brother 20 years ago this November and the loss is always felt...

I hope you have much fun with the sistahs and live it up! There is much that can be done in two days FO SHO!

Besos...

Have a ton of fun with the gals (love the picture!). You're very lucky to be so close to your siblings, to have grown up that way and to remain.

We were born in different decades ('67, '75, '82 and '96), which is a factor, but moreso we seem to be so different, due in part probably thereto also.

AP3 in Pezland will be there too.
Perhaps there is a secret blogging coalition going on in Portland!

TC, if you look carefully. the legs are actually part of the stool that the nuns are sitting on. Their own legs are further behind and resting on the footrest.

terry,
Nice to meet the clan. Have a good time. And I have to say, the double letter tradition is a great one. Wish I had thought of that.

That's a gorgeous family photo Terry. I hope you have a ton of fun with your sisters. I only have one but we always have fun together and I miss her a lot when we don't see each other for a while. Very cute that you all have double letters. Soak up some hugs!

That is so awesome! Both of my sisters live in the same town (and I mean town, not city) as me...we see each other on holidays and that's about it.

Sounds like a great time for everyone! My sister and I want to do a trip after the first of the year. Go whale watching in Mexico. Hopefully it will become an annual event.

Great pictures!!

Mz B - thanks for your comment. Six kids WAS a bit much I agree... I stopped at 3 :-D

You must be over on this side of the world by now!

We crammed lots into those two days, but it plumb wore me out! Man alive, why can't I do anything anymore like the olden days? We did the aquarium in Newport, went to a cool hippie store (think I lost my sisters in there... ha ha) at sushi, went to the beach, stopped a the picturesque Depot Bay and saw two whales feeding, swimming, spouting... laughed when we saw a ground squirrel that hung out at the aquarium ice cream stand, running out to lick up every drop of the ice cream dropped by the kids as they licked their cones... that was one chubby squirrel! Slept in a chair two nights (crinked my neck a good one), laughed and talked but not as late as I thought I would
ha ha - my eyelids dropped way before I was ready for them too :-D Missed Tam, but we did shop and put together a care package for Sal who couldn't be with us. We had FUN! My sorrow for you in the loss of your brother - what a loss to bear these past 20 years.

TC! HA HA HA HA! Yes, chicken legs! Too funny. I thought they could use a little sprucing up...

AUTUMN - what an amazing spread in your years apart! The decade thing is amazing... (hats off to Annie and your Dad :-D) My sisters and my brother and I are all each one or two years apart, with the exception of the last two who were about 5 years apart. I do treasure all of them - we are fortunate to still share a loving closeness. Did you know G's Mom has 8 siblings... boys and girls? She is visiting some of them right now in Iceland (lucky gal!!)

Cheesemeister - very nice to see you out and about! I looked about in Portland but didn't see anyone resembling a Pez family member :-(

Lone Grey Squirrel, nice to see that bright eyed bushy tail around here :-) I did try to pass on the double letter tradition with my own kidlets, but only really made it with the first two (Rebecca and Hannah). When my son and final child arrived, I had to name him after my Grandpa (Joseph) so it was just the end of the tradition.

Hi Lindsey - I have to tell you how much I enjoy your avatar - such a wistful and beautiful picture. Say, I hope you are getting on okay.

Icy and Tom - But I feel like we already know each other :-D

Hey Fleabutton - you forgot Lucy! :-D Love the L's... great tradition.

Actonbell - AUUUUGHHHH, I MISSED rabbit rabbit! Sorry to say my dress burned up in my housefire :-(... care to share yours?

JJ - boo hoo... I missed rabbit rabbit...

Bean - (you'll have to tell me about Mau) you make it all sound great whenever you speak (I swear I can hear your accent when you say "soak up some hugs" :-D) Hope you get to see your sis soon.

KESHI! Thanks - coming from you that means so much (you know about beauty - being such one yourself :-D)

Magdalene Sophie - HA HA! I feel so great that my masculine side is showing - LOL! Isn't the first time I've been mistaken for a boy (on paper mind you!) - you know my name is cool because I could be either.

Weatherchazer - is it because you don't get along, or because life just gets in the way? I don't see my sisters often... and certainly even less when all together... but it is always good when we do manage to pull it off. Good luck to you with yours.

Jillie - make it happen! It sounds like the best idea ever! I've never been to Mexico - one day sigh.... been to Albania though - it is kind of like Mexico I would imagine. no margaritas though... they have Raki. OUCH!

G - tee hee - yeah, brothers are okay too. (hear that Scotty?)

Hey Mz Crazy - been to Jamaica yet? Guess I better go look!

Rodrigo - no thanks - don't need any tee shirts at the moment.

Sherri - you've come up for air! Nice to see you - hope you are feeling okay these days. I'll pop by just to see that cute baby picture thing you have up...

Jillie - ha ha - you cracked yourself up! How was your 4th?
