My boy has always wanted to go to Burning Man. I think I'm too old and wouldn't be able to hand. LOL!

Sometimes I lose my head (like most people do). Now, I know where I can find it again. ;) Thanks!

A good high school friend made a great documentary of Burning Man.

I hope all that works.

I like them and find them highly relatable.

Have a great weekend.

Angela, My boy did go to Burning Man, twice! and loved it. I think it would be very cool - although not for everyone. I really do admire the art. HA HA - if you are too old... what the heck am I at 50???? Hey, my boy (he was about 45 then) went with his friend who was 69... My boy IS a boy, and although such a title infers that he hasn't yet grown up, I hope he never does.

Miz Bohemia - My friend - I can't wait until your cute yogi bones are relaxing comfortably in the City by the Bay... oh I hope that happens soon! I enjoyed visiting abroad - perhaps maybe someday I will even live somewhere else... (*shivers, and thinks longingly of Iceland whilst taking a sip of her Brenivin) but I can picture you in your perfect surroundings here in the San Francisco Bay Area where you belong. :-D Besos! xo PS: I love Loons...

SOe - good one! Come find your head here in San Francisco, or lose it as you wander out toward the Haight, or up in Chinatown, or watching the sea lions which congregate like cattle on the docks at Pier 39...

Oliviah - yes, there are wonderful things right here under my very nose. I know I love travel - but I also understand that there are such treasures to be seen, felt, smelt, heard and tasted within a close radius of my own home.

I just noticed in your profile that you like lava. Looks like we have another interest in common besides our fine feathered friends. It is always so good to hear from you. It truly makes my day. Yours is a good soul.

I think it must be a bad say when your head gets cut of from the lower section of your body. I mean what hands are gonna put sunscreen on that bold head now?

Toby - I loved watching the burning man show. I don't think I'll buy the documentary, but that is a wonderful achievement for your high school buddy. Thanks for the links. (yes, they worked)

G - yes, I relate to them too :-D Not a bad thing - except that they always look so grumpy.

Oliviah - why don't you sent me your mailing address, and I shall send you a piece of lava from Mt. Vesuvius. I brought home several (just can't help myself). They are red. Yes, I do love all things lava.

Lisa - Had to Google Rob Breszny and even now I'm not sure I know much about who/what he is! Interesting though...

I don't know where more burning man stuff is moldering... but there is quite a bit of it around the City here. Cool stuff.

Minka - think of it as a blessing that those kinds of heads need no sunscreen to look their best :-D They have special no-blister skin. But I also don't doubt that there ARE hands to match those bodiless heads somewhere...

OH WOW! You would send me a piece of lava? Oh now that is beyond cool, that is awesome! You are the best! *does a happy dance*

Actonbell - I can't help thinking that anything from Burning Man would be striking :-)

Oliviah - it is a very small piece, but yes, genuine lava that I had to sweat in order to claim. (cute dance BTW :-))

I missed Burning Man twice while I was in North America and I was quite upset about it. Hopefully I'll catch something equally fun when I head off to Asia. Interesting heads though. I wonder who modelled for those ones. Also, just dropping in to say hi which I haven't done for a while :)

I feel like reciting the Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme....

You find the most interesting things to post about dear Terry...lol

How is the ankle? Are you sick of people asking about it?

xo

tsduff said...

Bean! Ah, my wandering connection is back. I haven't been to Burning Man either, and I live here! Maybe they were a self portrait... or like Jillie said, perhaps a wisp of Humpty Dumpty memories hanging around... :-D Nice to see you.

Keshi - *waves to Down Under*

Jillie - no, not sick whatsoever. Are you? :-D So, check out the next cool place I saw in Italy (above)... you just see the strangest things sometimes! Ciao.
