How funny! Before I even saw your word "exuberance", that was exactly the word that came to mind when I saw Hunter cavorting in the water!!!! Nice way to beat the heat! :D
Tom & Icy - yes, well said. I think we all have a heart to be young again... it is just realizing it that is the uphill battle...
SOe - but the thrill about it is, that you have one of the most desirable places to experience on the earth - so summer, winter, fall or spring - it is all good.
Doug -surly you have a hose...?
Laura - where you been girl? Fabulous to hear from you - have missed your doggy face :)
Kelly - I wish you could have heard the squeaks and shrieks that accompanied his joyous jumps for joy... really, the spontaniety was heartwarming.
Dr. John - I know from your past photos what a rich and wonderful past you have... I'm so happy I have been privy to your fabulous photos ;) You make me remember my own past with your great memories :)
Lime - It was an opportunity for the taking... little Hunter's squeaks and shrieks were immediately demanding of any camera within sight-shot...truly it was one of the most esoteric moments I've experienced for a long time. The photos didn't even do it justice: I must have take 20 or 30 pictures... all are of his pure fun... he didn't know I was photographing him.
JJ = Truly this was one of those magic experiences where nobody is in charge, life's pure "buzz" just blazes through and some of us get to see it :) I took the kids, plus my Sis and her clan to the local theme park (Discovery World, Six Flags) and we all just had a wonderful time together. My pocketbook is groaning, but it was money most excellently spent :)I live for family.
Hope all is well with you and your two munchkins :)
Those pictures say it all! Summer can't be more perfect than those moments. Hope you had a wonderful summer and I see you got your camping trip in after all. Good for you.

Ah. To be young again. Or at least, young at heart.
That´s fun! I´m afraid the summer has already left Iceland - today and yesterday were rainy.
Icy, I'd settle for damp.
That captures the summer spirit perfectly! :-)
