Our new (117 year old) home.
We have many rooms to finish
sanding and painting...

a long project.

There is a volcano in the back yard... Mt Shasta and smaller cone Shastina are beautiful in their snowy mantle.

   We are so happy
to have a big sweet smelling cedar tree in the yard.

Just minutes from the house lies beauty as far as the eye can see.
It takes a bit of getting used to.

Yea!! You're back. I just love that stove. Beautiful. Also that black and white tile brings back nice memories.

I guess I didn't realize that you're close to Mt. Shasta. My sister Doris lived in Lewiston, which as I remember it was close to Mt. Shasta. Lovely area.

Work on a house, almost any house, never ends. Enjoy the journey.

Congratulations on your new abode. I just read of your island life and is seemed like you and yours wanted a more permanent place.
Just wanted to say Hi.

This is soooo beautiful Terry! Congrats on your home! I've seen Mt Shasta before and I think I could get used to seeing it every day! 😉Thought I would "stop by" and let you know I'm still alive! Had some friends that recently went to Iceland and thought of you! 😊
