City sidewalks, busy sidewalks
Dressed in holiday style
In the air
There's a feeling of Christmas

Children laughing
People passing
Meeting smile after smile
And on ev'ry street corner you'll hear

Silver bells, silver bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them sing
Soon it will be Christmas day

I just love this song - makes Christmas shopping almost sound like fun! TEE HEE! Merry Christmas everybody!

barely... pant pant - had to venture over to Office Max to buy a million binders for the new 2006 budgets and some other flotsam & jetsam. I thought I was "safe" - Christmas shoppers don't hang out at office supply stores, do they? DUH - the parking lot was packed, as was the store, and it took forever to take care of business. ugh. I could go on, but why? Yes, the bosses have all flown off to do their own dropping- LOL I mean shopping :-D

How's your day been? Still the woman of leisure?

I'm still grinding away here at work... all the rats are leaving the ship but I'm still here.

Sounds like an awesome project - albeit it a little bittersweet to work on. Your Mom is going to LOVE it!

LOL that sounds so funny! I did love the 70's - that time in one's life when things are so small perspectively... Striped jumpsuits? I love it!

Yes, I'm about to pack things up, do the dishes (still old school around here) and put on the alarm. Then - yes, on to wrapping presents! :-D

Christmas Shopping can be okay, if you can actually get people to give you a list :) lol

I'm never one for gift lists - other than the ones I make myself :-D Maybe that is why I suffer so when shopping.

Hi Autumn

What on earth are you doing up at this hour? Maybe my times are messed up, but isn't it 3:30ish am.? Hmm - sipping snizzle again?

Long story, you asked for it...was tired, went to bed before M, had to set alarm to make sure Santa had been (otherwise I would have had to get on the mobile) and then I checked the Internet and lo and behold, it was back on (stopping to draw breath).
Morning Terry :)

Hi Trace - good morning to you too! Time is relentlessly crawling toward the deadlines - trip to Florida YaY - wrapping Christmas stocking gifts - ugh. Found out last night that my Honey is flying back to CA with me on the 27th - WOOOOO HOOOOOO and also that 2 of his 3 daughters will be down to my house for our "Christmas" on the 27th. Auuughhhh - had to run out and shop again last night for the extra company. Hmmm - I'm getting pretty good at this! The challenge is to get it all wrapped before I leave for Florida :-). I'm halfway there.

Hi Autumn, I had just written you a note here and our server went down so it didn't stick :-(

Glad to hear you weren't pulling an all nighter :-D Thank goodness for alarms!
