ACH! I've been tagged by kyahgirl ! Okay, I really have already done this MEME- wow, can you believe it - exactly one year ago today!!! Strange timing now, isn't it? :-)
Thanks Laura, for actually wanting to know a little more about my hermit-tess self than comes through in my pictures.

How strange is that, exactly one year. :-D Those sorts of coincidences are too funny. There was this one time we met up with friends and they gave us a lift home. I was giving directions and one of them was telling me how he used to live in that area. As we got closer and closer, so too it kept getting closer to where he had lived. Turns out it was the very same place, some 20 years earlier. How's that for freaky. :-)

Happy Thursday, xoxo

Hey Keshi - happy new year to you as well. It has been over a year since you have been visiting here - and I always enjoy your sweet comments. So glad you can come back again!

Kyahgirl - no, thank YOU. Although it doesn't happen often, it's nice to get a gentle prod with which to motivate me to open up a teensy bit. I used to be a word-aholic - now I find the medium of pictures more fun. But they don't tell the whole story - LOL.

Jodes - I have the funniest picture of you in my head: actually YOUR head down on your desk! :-D I like it. Hope your Friday (which is almost over) has been a good one.

Autumn, yest those things are amazing when they happen. That is funny what happened to you. I was just surprised when I looked back in my blog and saw that post... it seems like not very long ago. And it is really amazing that we've been just rolling along on our blogs all together this long! Hugs!

Freds Hand... thanks :-D I didn't even know what "meme" meant until recently :-D

Monika - the deep dark secret is ... is it Monika or Minka - or does it even matter? I like them both. Your meme turned out so beautifully - really like that you put a great deal of thought and PICTURES in it :-)

Jillie - Awe - you're sweet. Any cheesehead is a friend of mine
:-) (I adore cheese) and you've got the ovaries to wear it.

Jodes - afternoon :-)

Autumn - no plans. none. zip. nada. (G is trying to get me to run off to see Lisa in Toronto - think we could make it in a 3 day trip?)

ha! just saw this...
are you trying to scare me?
(i guess the big Bear doesnt know
a) how neurotic and nuts lisa is,
or
b) how she does not like
surprise visitors...!

didnt i tell you guys about my former friends, an old hippie couple from Arizona who showed up on my doorstep on Halloween? (actually only half of em are hippies...)
i'm so much better on screen,
let me assure you!

tho my house IS pretty clean right now...

ya, i'm nuts.

javajazz said...

besides,
the Bear would have to come too...

javajazz said...

AND Autumn...

javajazz said...

maybe that dry dog guy, too...

javajazz said...

and a few others...

javajazz said...

i'm just not too good
with surprises,
as my former friends
will attest to!
(actually they
kindly forgave
my icy uncomfortable
squirming...)
i think i was good
for about 2 hours
before i needed
to not be around people...
no one understands
the true hermit...
the social phobic.
its an aquired skill.
i think i have it
down to a fine art now...

javajazz said...

oh, now i'm gonna worry
that you'll take all that
personally...
i dont even like it
when my own mother drops by.
(that might not be the
best example...)
and you already know i dont
like to answer my phone.
its just my neuroses
gone bad...
oh, maybe you do understand...
xo

LISA - you are so funny! Not to worry - although we are known to drop in and just show up on peoples doorsteps... (mostly my sweetie - I was NOT known for this ever, before he came back into my life. I have always enjoyed making arrangements, instead of catching people in cameo appearances, i.e. doing their hair in foilie things, eating dinner, or worse ... not even home) we shant do such a deed to you. Perhaps when we meet it will be at a show in which Brian wins a grammy... we shall all hug and kiss and nobody will be shy at all :-D

javajazz said...

naw, no Hollywood crappo for moi,
lets just all meet
in new york at some deli
or hole in the wall diner
that makes yummy homemade soup
or that place that serves
the best cheescake in the world
and laugh and get kicked out
and we'll all walk thru the city
with our take out coffee
and tea,
all happy and fun and go
to central park or Macy's...

damn, i just cut sarah's
bangs and totally screwed
them up.
shes trying not to hate me.
she wanted wispy to the side
ones and she trusted me
but i thought she wanted
bang bangs, even tho
i tried to talk her out of
it, so i cut bang bangs
and now she's in the shower
to wash her hair and hope
that the blunt bangs i cut
will blend into her
ridiculously curly hair.
i suck.
argh...
